柔佛古廟是一座位於柔佛州新山市直律街的古老寺廟，古廟周圍都是高聳的摩天大樓包圍著。柔佛古廟是新山最古老的建筑物之一。柔佛古廟象征五個不同籍貫的人相互合作的精神，這五幫就是“潮州幫”，“福建幫”，“客家幫”，“廣東幫”和“海南幫”。(Sg2JB)
柔佛古廟是由義興公司的陳旭年和當時新山的各界人士於19世紀后期建造，雖然沒有碑記可考其年份，但廟中現存有兩件文物：匾額和銅鐘，前者書“同治庚午”（公元1870年），后者刻有“同治乙亥年”（公元1875年），說明了柔佛古廟最少已有一百四十二年的歷史。
在1995年至1996年期間，柔佛古廟花了150萬令吉進行修復工作，以保護柔佛古廟的原貌。(Sg2JB)
柔佛古廟主要供奉五位神明，那就是：
元天上帝（大老爺）（最早進入古廟供奉的神，由潮州幫負責）
洪仙大帝（洪仙公）（左邊，由福建幫負責）
感天大帝（右邊，由客家幫負責）
華光大帝（主神兩邊，由廣東幫負責）
趙大元帥（主神兩邊，由海南幫負責）
柔佛古廟是新山五幫華人共同膜拜的寺廟，它是早期新山華社力量凝聚的核心組織，正如后期的華僑公所，和目前的中華公會，為新山華裔同胞最高的領導機構。(Sg2JB)
古廟整個建筑是根據中國南部建筑而設計，帶有濃厚的潮州建筑風格。古廟分為前院、主樓、后院與廂房。
它的屋頂設計是採用逐步增高方式，即前院山門屋頂最矮、大廳正門屋頂較高、祭拜廳屋頂更高，而大廳屋頂最高。這是中國傳統建筑物特色，通過屋頂高低層次，以突出大廳的重要性。(Sg2JB)
每年農歷的正月廿一，柔佛古廟會舉行柔佛古廟游神，五位神明會被帶到新山市區環繞一圈，形成一個特別的景觀。新山華人堅持著一種觀念說新山華人的農歷新年是在游神之后才正式結束的。(Sg2JB)
